Rollin’ Rollin’ on down the road

This is our 2nd day on the road. Yesterday we drove through the rest of Utah and all of Idaho.  When we left Bountiful we were at 4400 ft elevation. We got as high as 5600 ft then at Boise started coming down. Friday we were on the road 9 1/2 hours.  Way too long for both of us.  We were exhausted as we rolled into Hotel Walmart. I ate and went to bed at 9 pm. Idaho was mountainous in the eastern part – like the Snake River Canyon where Evil Knievel flew his bike over.  The western part was farmlands.  The trees haven’t blossomed yet.  Today we are in Oregon.  Snow next to the road! This is either the prettiest state or the 2nd prettiest state.  Beautiful mountains where it looks like God took his hand and  swirled the hills. We opted for a shorter day and are overnighting in a COE campground right on the Columbia River. We are about 4 feet from the edge of the water. I feel like Mark Twain.  The pictures you will see with this post are me hanging my head out our 12 inch front window and taking them.  If I was out the window too long, my tongue hung out like a dogs. I hoped that Eric didn’t swerve the RV (and he didn’t) because I felt like my body would go through the window and get stuck at my bum.
